Consular Jurisdictions
Washington DC
All applicants for Algerian visa residing within our constituency, which includes the following states “Washington. DC, North Carolina, South Carolina, Delaware, Maryland, Virginia, West Virginia” have to submit their visa applications to THE EMBASSY OF ALGERIA IN WASHINGTON – DC.

All other applicants must submit their file to The Consulate General of Algeria in New York.

Diplomatic Visa
Applications for diplomatic and service visas will continue to be exclusively processed by the Office of Consular Affairs of the Embassy of Algeria in Washington
Tourist Visa
Valid and signed U. S. Passport (must be valid for at least 6 months with at least one blank visa page in your passport) – photocopy is not acceptable.
Two (2) Visa Application Form completed and signed. Click the application form according to your state of jurisdiction from the instruction above.
Two (2) recently taken professional passport-type photograph.
Digital and non-passport photographs are not acceptable.

A hotel reservation with proof of confirmation from travel agency or invitation letter signed and legalized at a local city hall from your host in Algeria with a copy of his/her ID.
Please send a copy of your round-trip airline tickets, or itinerary or e-ticket, or letter of confirmation from a travel agent. The itinerary must show the applicant’s name, date of arrival and departure from the country, and flight information.
Complete the Compass Visa Order Form.
Business Visa
Valid and signed U. S. Passport (must be valid for at least 6 months with at least one blank visa page in your passport) – photocopy is not acceptable.

A business letter (click here for sample letter) from the sending company – the letter should request Multiple Entries visa if required and it must be in original form and must signed by an officer other than the applicant.
Letter of invitation of your host company in Algeria.
