Tourist Visa

Hotel reservation/confirmation showing the applicant’s name on it.
A copy of your round trip airline tickets, or itinerary or e-ticket, or letter of confirmation from a travel agent. The itinerary must show the applicant’s name, date of arrival and departure from the country, and flight information.

All applicants must need to submit a health certificate (in English or with English translation) from a certified physician ensuring not affected by COVID-19 (to be obtained within 72 hours of submitting the application) with the visa application.

A business letter (click here for sample letter) from the US company – the letter should request Multiple Entries visa if required and it must be in original form and must signed by an officer other than the applicant.
An invitation letter from the host company in Bangladesh clearly stating the purpose of the visit. Please also include Trade License/Registration Paper or any Government issued Certificate in favour of host organization.
Letter of appointment from the Church and “No Objection” from the Bangladesh Ministry of Religious Affairs, Dhaka.

Note Verbale/letter from the concerned government office/Mission. Any direct communication from Dhaka will not be accepted, which must come via Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Dhaka.

Please note that after scrutiny of documents, the Embassy may request for an interview and/or submission of additional documents. Issuance of visa may be delayed if reference has to be made to Bangladesh for clearance.
The Embassy may accept or reject any application for visa.
