For visitor visa – If visiting relatives/friends, an invitation letter by family members or friends is required.
World Health Certificate required showing valid vaccinations against Yellow Fever
A copy of your round trip airline tickets, or itinerary or e-ticket, or letter of confirmation from a travel agent. The itinerary must show the applicant’s name, date of arrival and departure from the country, and flight information.

A business letter (click here for sample letter) from the US company – the letter should request Multiple Entries visa if required and it must signed by an officer other than the applicant.
A Letter of invitation on letterhead from a host company or organization in Burundi is required.
The invitation should detail intended dates of arrival and departure from the country, your name and passport number, and request any special visa conditions (Multiple Entries visa) if required.
