Copy of your round trip airline tickets, or itinerary or e-ticket, or letter of confirmation from a travel agent. The itinerary must show the applicant’s name, date of arrival and departure from the country, and flight information.

A business letter (click here for sample letter) from the US company – The letter must explain all of the following:
Nature of business to be performed
Name and address of reference to be visited
This letter should request Multiple Entries visa if required
Guarantee of return transportation and sufficient funds for the visit
The letter should be signed by an officer of the company other than the applicant.

Diplomatic Visa

Diplomatic Note or Letter – Letter from sending department or agency, explaining the purpose of travel and intended dates of the visit.

Entry Visa for Long term Stay (beyond 90 days stay)
Visa is valid one month from date of issue, for stay up to 30 days. Issued to enable applicant to finalize, in Madagascar, a long term stay through the Ministry of Interior. Application should clearly specify that the applicant applies for one month visa for the purpose of obtaining a long term visa in Madagascar.
In addition to the first 5 requirements stated above for tourist or business visa, the following are additional required documents:
- Police record (less than 6 months old) from the applicant’s residence local authority.
- Copy of the Malagasy National Identity Card or Resident Card of the host.
- Invitation certificate and affidavit of support duly signed or a copy of the house or apartment lease agreement.
