Tourist/Visit Visa
Valid and signed U. S. Passport – must be valid for at least 6 months from the date of entry into Mozambique and with at least 2 blank pages for visa. Amendment pages are excluded.
One (1) Visa Application Form completed and signed.
Two (2) recently taken professional passport-type photographs.
Digital and non-passport photographs are not acceptable.

Copy of your round trip airline tickets, or itinerary or e-ticket, or letter of confirmation from a travel agent. The itinerary must show the applicant’s name, date of arrival and departure from the country, and flight information.
A copy of your confirmed hotel reservation(s). If you are staying at various hotels please provide a copy of the reservation from each hotel. This is applicable for tourist visa.
Invitation Letter from the inviting party in Mozambique as well as a copy of BI (Mozambican ID), Passport (Mozambican) or DIRE. This is applicable for Visit Visa.
Copy of International Certificate of Vaccination for Yellow Fever. Applicable to applicants who have been in a Yellow Fever endemic country.
Persons under the age of 18 must submit a notarized parental travel consent letter and copy of their birth certificate.

Business Visa

A business letter (click here for sample letter) from the US company – The letter must explain all of the following: Nature of business to be performed; Name and address of reference to be visited; This letter should request Multiple Entries visa if required; Guarantee of return transportation and sufficient funds for the visit; The letter should be signed by an officer of the company other than the applicant.
