Note:
U.S. citizens do not require visa to enter Korea for tourist or business purposes for a maximum stay of 90 days. Valid and signed U. S. Passport (valid at least 6 months beyond the date of entry; with at least one blank visa page) is required. For over 90 days stay, visa is required.
Tourist Visa
- Valid and signed U. S. Passport, must be valid for at least 6 months beyond the date of entry, with at least one blank visa page in your passport.
- Bio-page copy of the passport.
One (1) Visa Application Form completed and signed.
One (1) recently taken professional passport-type photograph.
Digital and non-passport photographs are not acceptable.

Original Permanent Resident Card (Green Card) or valid U.S. visa and I-94 is required.
Travelers who entered the USA after April 26th 2013 should print the electronic I-94 form from the
Department of Homeland Security.

Business Visa
- Valid and signed U. S. Passport, must be valid for at least 6 months beyond the date of entry, with at least one blank visa page in your passport.
- Bio-page copy of the passport.

A business letter (click here for sample letter) from the US company – The letter must explain all of the following:
Nature of business to be performed
Name and address of reference to be visited
This letter should request Multiple Entries visa if required
Guarantee of return transportation and sufficient funds for the visit
The letter should be signed by an officer of the company other than the applicant.

Applicant’s position and title
Purpose of the trip
Dates of the intended visit
Contact person in South Korea.
