Copy of your round trip airline tickets, or itinerary or e-ticket, or letter of confirmation from a travel agent. The itinerary must show the applicant’s name, date of arrival and departure from the country, and flight information.
A copy of your International Certificate of Vaccination for Yellow Fever is required. You MUST carry your ORIGINAL certificate when traveling to Rwanda.

*East Africa TouristVisa – if you are travelling to Rwanda, Kenya, and Uganda and, you can apply for one visa, the East Africa Tourist Visa. If your first country of entry is Rwanda, you should apply at the Rwanda Consulate. If you’re first country is not Rwanda, check on Kenya or Uganda for instructions.

If you are staying with family or friends a Letter of Invitation from your host is required.
If you are staying in a hotel then a copy of your hotel confirmation is required.

Business Letter (click here for sample) – A business letter of responsibility is required, to be typewritten on your company letterhead and addressed to:
Embassy of Rwanda, Visa Section, Washington DC
The letter must explain all of the following:
Nature of business to be performed
Name and address of reference to be visited
This letter should request Multiple Entries visa if required
Guarantee of return transportation and sufficient funds for the visit
The letter should be signed by an officer of the company other than the applicant.
